Acrylic & Cotton Candy on Canvas

50 (H) x 50 (W) x 5 (D) cm

Inspired by time spent in the Swan Valley, Sugar in the Spirit reflects the emotional after-effect of retreat—the stillness, rest and renewed energy that follows. Layered acrylics create a hazy atmosphere of soft pinks, violets and whites, contrasted with warm Australian yellows, oranges and siennas. Candy floss and sherbet-like colours evoke childhood, nostalgia and fleeting joy.
